Polk State duo places 14th at major collegiate tourney

Polk State College fishing team members Justin Bun and Kyle Brewer had 10.14 pounds and placed 14th out of 140 teams during the FLW Collegiate Tournament on Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Georgia, on Friday.
The top 14 teams qualified for the 2021 FLW College Fishing National Championship. Fellow Polk State team members Evan Wieber and Jacob Eaton placed 17th and Trenton Coleman and Trever Stephens placed 20th. Brad Ableman and Wilson Smith of Bethel University of St. Paul, Minnesota won the event with 19.1 pounds.
